These prototypes were created as a part of an online challenge for a brand-new chat and messenger app called ‘Hey’.

The Hey chat team was looking for a new design for their landing and Chat pages. What makes their app different is that it combines traditional messaging with suggested interest groups based on what users’ chats are about. They can explore activities to do with their friends and families and help their planning process easier.

I focused on easy navigation between the pages and also created the chat functions according to the mental models that our users are familiar with. Since there are a lot of messaging apps lately, users already have an idea of how they work. For this reason, I followed the same user interaction principles as other apps.  

The completion time for this challenge was one day deliverables included designing the home page, dashboard layout with a clean and aesthetically pleasing UI.
